Local Government Reorganisation Latest

Attached is a letter to current authorities detailing the structure of the unitary authorities which come into force in April 2028. A shadow unitary authority will be created in April 2027 whilst the current Borough, District, City and County authorities are still in existence.

The areas falling under the 2 new authorities of East Sussex and Brighton and Hove are listed in the table on page 2
